Washday Virlanie: Giving Back

July 29, 2010 at 12:21 pm Leave a comment

This time we partnered with Virlanie and its core to bring smiles to the street children. We felt like it was high time, with the length and success of Washdays for the past years, that we dedicate an event to capture the smiles of those kids.  It was a different high to see kids armed with their smiles, no coaxing, no couture poses, no pouts just plain sparkle on their eyes and the occasional shy smiles where brought in front of the camera. Shooting almost 250+ kids in one day brought a different buzz, but relief as well knowing that these kids are well taken cared of.  We would like to thank the Virlanie Foundation for allowing us the opportunity to be able to part in fossilizing the effect you have on these kids. Let every smile be a story of triumph and success in the full integration of these promising individuals as an integral part of society.
